SHEETS FROM MARANHÃO

It doesn't exist anything comparable to the fascinating Sheets From Maranhão. They form a great area between the municipal districts of First Cruz and Barriers, to the margins of the river of the Laziness, in Maranhão. They are 155 thousand hectares full of discharges dunes with until 40 meters of height and ponds of fresh water, whose waters vary among the green tones and blue. 

The Sheets From Maranhão would be a great desert, if it didn't rain here 300 times more than in Saara. They are these waters that, arrested among the dunes, they form true tropical oasis, obligatory stops for who he/she walks in the dunes. Some ponds arrive to have fish. As if it was not enough, about of the area swamps, sandbanks and 70 km of beaches they contribute to do a world of endless beauties of the Sheets - and unforgettable.
